We would like to announce that we have a location for this year’s reunion.
The main event will be held on September 29th, Saturday, at the Hotel Valley Ho. The hours for that evening will be 6:30 pm-10:30 pm and cost and instructions for ordering tickets to be announced soon. Rooms will also be available at the hotel for a discounted rate of $189/per night. Registration instructions will be available soon. A huge thanks to Mike Hess for his work in securing a fabulous location for what will be an extremely memorable event.
In addition, a family picnic, volleyball/softball game and events are planned for Saturday morning and afternoon, on site at the SHS campus. Food and beverages will be provided and the school has joined in to provide classmates and their families with a tour of the current campus. There will be no cost to attend this event. Just bring your families and your sunscreen!!! Lots of fun, food, music and recreation!!!! Again, specific time is to be announced. A special thanks to Nona Shoemaker for her “inside†the campus assistance on this, and to Dennis and Ann Mann for their work in organizing a great family event.
Friday night event will be a meet and greet at Aunt Chilada’s. This will be a non-hosted event and again, no charge to attend. Specific time is to be announced.  Thanks to Steve Hoshor and Wade Miller for their work in setting this up!!
Although some details such as costs and times remain to be determined, the events and locations are confirmed.

May 19th’s Planning Committee Meeting
Many thanks to those of you who joined us at this week’s planning meeting!!! It is great to see that so many are interested in helping to make this year’s reunion a great event. The response from networking and emailing 1977 grads has been phenomenal, but we still have a large number of alumni who are missing. Again, we encourage you to notify us of your email addresses and of the contact information for any of the graduates with whom you may still be in contact.
Our next meeting is planned for June 16th at 2 pm. at the Islands on 28th Ave. and Peoria. Any and all graduates are invited and encouraged to attend.
We are hoping to have an inital announcement out by the end of the month regarding the final plans for the reunion.
In addition, this website will be undergoing some major renovations in the next few days and weeks, and you are encouraged to check back for updates and to visit on a regular basis. The site will soon enable you to post a variety of types of information, and will assist the planners by providing an excellent communication tool, both through postings and through reverse emails to those who have provided their email contact information to any one of the Planners, or to the site itself. A special thanks goes out to Tom Perrine for making this possible!!!!
