Sunnyslope High Class of 1977

This web site is dedicated to planning and publicizing the Sunnyslope High School class of 1977 reunion. As such, it has features that are designed to collect personal information.

Privacy was one of the primary requirements that led us to build our own solution instead of outsourcing it to one of the commercial sites, such as Classmates.com, or Reunions.com.

This web site will request and collect only information required by the organizers to communicate about the September 28-30 2007 reunion event. More specifically, this will be limited to “contact information” such as mailing addresses, email addresses and phone numbers. This web site does NOT collect or store any banking or financial information or any credit card or e-commerce information.

All voluntarily provided contact information that is collected (via the web forms) is immediately transmitted to other (non-public) computers, and no visitor data is stored on this web site, except for the log files as noted below.

This web site also collects certain Internet-related information (”logs”) such as the IP addresses of visitors, which pages were viewed, and for how long. This information is kept solely for the purposes of monitoring the site and protecting it from abuse, and for making changes to the site to make it easier to use.

After the reunion, a public directory will be produced. This directory will be made available in both print and electronic formats. Those who submit their contact information will have the opportunity to “opt in” to be included in this directory. Those who express no preference, or do not explicitly “opt in” will not be included in this directory.
